KEN 'SNOWMAN' MINAHAN was born and raised in Chicago, where he grew up listening to the Blues. He started playing guitar at the age of 12, and was lucky enough to see and play with some of the greats!

After high school he began his touring with U.S.A. Records recording artists ’Michael and the Messengers'. This was followed by touring the world with various bands along the way recording on several records.

Some of his best playing can be heard on the album 'He call's me Miss Good'n' Plenty' (Sheba and the Rhythm Kings, 1999). Snowman not only wrote or co-wrote most of the songs but he also produced the C.D.

In 1992 he won the 'B.B.King 'Lucille' Award' from the National Blues Foundation in Memphis and was asked to play at the W.C.Handy Awards where he was presented the Award by the Memphis Horns.

After this Snowman went back on the road touring only now in bigger venues.
Besides being an accomplished guitarist/singer/songwriter/producer
he is a "Bluesoligest"! Because of his knowledge of the Blues and its history, He was also invited to teach a class on the blues at the University of Miami, his home at the time.

He now lives in Thailand where he is a session musician and the guitarist, and musical director at the 'BLUES FACTORY' in Pattaya.
